This Is a Studio That Normally Shoots for Talents and Actresses
The photographer and hair & makeup artist we work with at Studio Mozart are professionals who charge ¥100,000–¥200,000 per day. Mr. Komachi empathizes with our vision, and we arrange maternity photo shoots at his atelier and studio several times a month. Therefore, we primarily schedule maternity photo sessions on weekends while coordinating calendars between Mr. Komachi and Studio Mozart.

From Reservation to Arrival
1-1. Reservation
Please contact us via our reservation form on our website or by phone. If you call, you will hear “Hello, this is Studio Mozart,” so please say, “I saw your website and would like to make a reservation.” We will ask for your preferred date, time, and your name. We start accepting shoot reservations about two months in advance, but we will do our best to adjust the schedule, so feel free to contact us as soon as you decide.
1-2. Pre-Shoot Confirmation
Please review our shoot checklist. Before your maternity shoot, check the checklist on our website for important notes on items to bring and what to wear. If you have any questions before the shoot, please feel free to ask us. Also, if you need to reschedule due to health concerns, we offer free rescheduling. However, please note that cancellations made within five days of the shoot date will incur a cancellation fee.
1-3. If Possible, Please Come with Your Family
If possible, please come with your family. At Mozart, we believe that if possible, it’s wonderful to have your partner join you for maternity or maternity nude photos. Of course, you are also welcome to come alone.
Consultation
2-1. Consultation
We will share details about outfits, hair & makeup, and the overall concept. On the day of the shoot, we will conduct a final consultation about outfits, hair & makeup, and imagery, so you can proceed to the shoot with confidence.
2-2. Hair & Makeup
We will spend about an hour on full makeup from the base up. Our makeup focuses on enhancing the unique gentleness and strength only pregnant women can express, ensuring the final result highlights your natural beauty. During makeup, you will feel very relaxed. (For Baby Photo Plan without makeup, hair & makeup services are not included.)
2-3. Outfit Change
You will change into an outfit from our studio’s wardrobe or an outfit you have provided. ※For the Baby Photo Plan, no outfit is provided.
2-4. Shooting
For the shoot, the photographer and a female hair & makeup artist will work as a team (an assistant will join if necessary). We proceed with the shoot while checking previews in real time. Rather than stiff, formal photos like those in typical studios, we capture images in a natural flow and select the best shots. Hair & makeup is not just completed in the makeup room; the artist remains on set to adjust hair, makeup, and wardrobe details throughout the shoot. (The number of shots may vary depending on the plan.)
Post-Shoot
3-1. Photo Selection
We will send you the selections via email for you to review. The photographer will select approximately 30 photos from the shoot and send them to you via email within one week. Then, please choose your favorite photos and reply to us. (The number of photos you can select may vary by plan. The selection period is one year from the shoot date.)
3-2. Light Retouch
A professional designer will enhance your photos for flawless skin. The photos you selected will undergo adjustments, corrections, and enhancements to produce even more beautiful final images. We smooth and refine pregnancy-related skin concerns such as blemishes and pronounced stretch marks, applying high-quality light retouching before delivering the final product.
3-3. Product Delivery
We will deliver your images within 2–3 weeks. From the time of photo selection, the final images will be completed in 2–3 weeks. All selected photos and other shooting data will be included on a DVD and sent to you. We carefully package and ship the photos via courier, so please rest assured. (We wrap everything securely with air bubble wrap and label it as fragile.) ※For the Maternity Photo Light Plan, the data provided will include only the selected photos. ※After shipping the final images, we delete all personal data due to privacy considerations. (Our studio does not store client data indefinitely.)
