From Booking to Visit
Step 1-1 · Consultation & Booking

Please contact us via the booking form on our website or by telephone. When calling, we’ll answer as “Studio Mozart”; please say “I saw you online and would like to enquire about a Maternity Photo Gift.” We’ll listen to your wishes — how to present the gift, whether you’d like to attend on the day, and more.
Step 1-2 · Pre-Shoot Checklist

Please review our Shoot Checklist before the session. It covers what to bring and what to wear. If anything is unclear, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Note: Rescheduling due to health concerns is free of charge, but cancellations within five days of the shoot incur a cancellation fee.
Step 1-3 · Visit with Family or Friends

You are warmly encouraged to come along. Whether you’re a mother, mother-in-law, or best friend — if you attend, we’ll take a commemorative photo together at the end of the shoot.
On the Day
Meeting
Step 2-1 · Initial Consultation

We begin with a brief conversation about your preferred outfits, hair & makeup style, and the overall mood you’d like. So you can step into the shoot feeling completely at ease.
Step 2-2 · Hair & Makeup

Our artist spends approximately 60 minutes on a full look, starting from the base. The aim is to draw out the unique tenderness, bliss, and strength that only a pregnant woman radiates. Many guests find this part deeply relaxing. (Hair & makeup is not included in the Baby Photo Plan.)
Step 2-3 · Costume Change

Choose from our studio wardrobe or bring your own favourite outfit. (Costumes are not included in the Baby Photo Plan.)
Step 2-4 · The Shoot

The photographer and hair & makeup artist work as a team throughout the session (an assistant may also join as needed). Rather than stiff, formal poses, we let moments unfold naturally — then draw out the very best from each frame. The hair & makeup artist remains present throughout to touch up hair, makeup, and styling as needed.
After the Shoot
After Shooting
Step 3-1 · Choosing Your Photos

The photographer curates approximately 30 images from your session and emails them to you within one week. You then select your favourites and reply. (The number of selectable images varies by plan. The selection period is one year from the shoot date.)
Step 3-2 · Light Retouching

A professional designer carefully retouches each selected image — adjusting tones, smoothing pregnancy-related skin changes, and refining every detail so your photos are finished to the highest quality.
Step 3-3 · Delivery

Your finished prints and a DVD of all shoot data (selected images plus all other shots) will be delivered by courier within 2–3 weeks of your photo selection. Packages are carefully wrapped in bubble-wrap and labelled fragile. Please note that after delivery all personal data is deleted from our systems — we do not store client data indefinitely.
FAQ for Maternity Photo Gift
FAQ for Maternity Photo Gift
Because this is a gift, many people wonder: “Will she really enjoy it?” “Could it feel like too much?” “Am I overstepping?” At Studio Mozart, the recipient’s own wishes and physical wellbeing come first — always.
- When can the recipient book her shoot?
We recommend weeks 28–34 of pregnancy, when the belly’s shape is most beautiful on camera. Bookings are accepted from two months before the preferred date. Within the gift’s validity period, she can book whenever the time feels right — there’s no rush.
- How do I present this as a gift?
Please contact us by email or phone first. We’ll listen to your wishes and guide you through our gift presentation options.
- What if she doesn’t enjoy it?
We send the recipient full information about the studio in advance so she can browse our atmosphere, shooting style, and wardrobe before deciding to book. There is no pressure to use the gift — she chooses entirely on her own terms.
- Am I overstepping by giving this?
This gift is always presented as something she can choose to use — never an obligation. It’s a gentle way to convey your feelings. Mothers, mothers-in-law, close friends, and colleagues have all given this gift naturally and warmly.
- I’m worried about her health and the demands of the day.
The wellbeing of mother and baby comes before everything else. We pace the session gently, take breaks whenever needed, and reschedule without charge if she is unwell on the day.
- Can she keep her belly covered?
Absolutely. Bare-bump photos are never required. She can wear her own clothes or choose a fully covered style from our wardrobe. We’ll suggest beautiful options that suit her comfort level.
- Can I come along on the day?
Of course. We’d love to have you there. At the end of the shoot we can take a commemorative photo together — a memory for everyone involved.
- Can I truly trust you with this?
Studio Mozart has been a dedicated maternity photography specialist for 16 years, with the same team working together for over 30 years. Our hair & makeup artist has her own experience of childbirth — the comfort in the room is not just professional skill; it’s human understanding.
